Would it be possible to take the innards of a Switch Pro Controller and put them in a Wii U Pro Controllers? Basically, giving the Wii U Pro some gyro controls.

So many people are going nuts over death stranding, saying it will be revolutionary and innovative. But it's a movie like experience first and foremost. That's what kojima wants to do and has always wanted to do.
For him it's cinematics > gameplay. That's not to say story's don't have their place, if a story is good enough it can save a game with poor gameplay.
I fail to see where death stranding is innovating though, it has a lot of weird and cool looking stuff but it doesn't seem like any of that translates to gameplay very deeply. Look at the baby's for example, they detect the monsters and you have to stealthily avoid them, I feel like this was designed with the story and cinematics in mind and they made the gameplay portion as an afterthought. The combat itself looks passable but basic.
I think I'll like death stranding, it seems like it'll have at the very least an interesting story and a strong atmosphere.
But it is not pushing the medium.
The moment you bring mocap suits, film grade cameras and all that stuff into the game studio you've kinda lowered yourself, a movie game can be good but will never be the greatest video game of all time.
Games that truly take advantage of the medium are the ones that hit the hardest, the ones that stick.
Look at ice pick lodge games for example, the void and pathologic 2 are seriously some of the best games ever made. And the amount of even more obscure developers pushing boundaries is vast, kojima is not an innovator, his story's can just be a little weird at times. Im hoping people give more mind to the obscure developers taking advantage of the medium in experimental ways, They are the ones really pushing boundaries, smaller, more obscure developers are the ones that are making me excited for the future of video games, not movie directors.
